Ahogy tavaly is írtam, ezt a díjat a Board Game Geek olvasói ítélik oda online, szavazás útján. Érvényes szavazata annak lehet, aki az oldalt támogatta pénzzel, vagy geekgolddal (a helyi valuta) szavazati jogot vásárolt magának erre az egy alkalomra. Másképpen kifejezve ez a BGG fizetős olvasóinak díja.
